Torch lake is the second-longest inland lake in Michigan. The lake is 19 miles long, two miles wide and 285 feet deep. It is ideal for water skiing, boating and fishing, the depths of Torch Lake are home to home to many species of fish including trout, whitefish, and pike. Its famous sandbars are a perfect location for summer parties. Recently, National Geographic named Torch Lake the “Third Most Beautiful Lake in the World” but even that title doesn’t do this lake justice.
